Butler University’s newest head basketball coach is inspiring students and continuing the team’s winning record this year.

Brad Stevens, who graduated from DePauw University in 1999, said that he doesn’t plan to make any structural changes because of the successful formula, and that he has a unique relationship with the team since he played not too long ago. Last week, Butler students packed their bags and headed to their respective destinations for spring break. For some people, the destination was home, for an ambitious group it was to Tennessee to work on the Cumberland Trail, and for some it was various parts of Florida. At other universities, nicknames for administrators may be considered an insult, but at Butler nicknames are a reflection of the close-knit community of students, staff and faculty.

Dr. Levester Johnson, typically known as “LJ” on campus, is the vice president of student affairs at Butler University.

An interview with SGA President Laura Michel

Student Government Association President Laura Michel sat down with Dawgnet to discuss what's happening with SGA this semester and how the new H.U.B. (Helping Unite Butler) will help SGA interact more with Butler students. The HUB is located in the former barber shop next to C-Club in Atherton Union.
